Ärjänsaari Island is well worth a visit even in winter. It offers magnificent natural slopes for sledding and breathtaking wintry lake landscapes.
We will travel by snowmobile-drawn sleigh to the wintry island, where the high, snow-covered sand dunes practically beckon you to go sledding.
From the top of the dunes, you can admire the vast frozen expanse of Ärjänselkä, the largest open water area in Finland's inland waters. The bravest among us might even dare to slide all the way down from the very top!
Outdoor activities in the fresh air are sure to work up an appetite—and as we know, no trip is complete without enjoying snacks by an open fire.
