At Vierasniemi on Ärjänsaari, also known as Herrojenniemi in local speech, where the leadership of the Kajaani Company has been vacationing and hosting guests since the 1950s, a log sauna and cottage are now available for rent.
There’s even a story that President Kekkonen himself bathed in the sauna at Herrojenniemi.
Vierasniemi is available for rent between June 1st and September 30th, 2025, in 3-hour time slots, from 2 PM to 11 PM.
The rental price is 65€ per 3-hour session.
The maximum group size is 6 people.
The renter will heat the sauna themselves.
Firewood for the sauna is included in the rental price.
The customer must clean the premises before departure.
The price does not include towels or sauna blankets.
